You walk a solutions engineer through the problem - the users, the current setup, the outcome you want to move. No SDR, no pitch deck. We take notes and ask hard questions.

If we're already a fit, you'll leave the call knowing how this would actually work. If we're not, we'll tell you and recommend someone better.

Scope. Cut the noise.

We define the smallest version that creates value. Drop the nice-to-haves. Fixed scope, fixed timeline, fixed price - before any code gets written.

If the scope you came with is too big, we'll tell you. If it's too small, we'll tell you. The goal is shipping something useful in 2026, not a 14-month vision doc.

WEEK 1–2

Prototype. Show, don't tell.

Working software in days, not weeks. Real data, real flows, no Figma theater. You touch it, we iterate. Designs come after we know the thing works.

A prototype is for finding what's wrong fast. Expect to break it. Expect to push back. That's the whole point of this step.

WEEK 2 · ON-SITE 1–4 WEEKS

Deploy on site. If needed.

Not every project needs an FDE. But when the problem lives in a warehouse, a factory floor, a hospital, or a retail store, no amount of Zoom will fix it. We send an engineer to your site for 1–4 weeks - they shadow operators, prototype on-site, and ship in context.

FDE deployments add ~$5k to a project. They're the difference between an unused dashboard and a tool your team opens every morning. We've done 9 of them. The math always works.

Build & ship. For production.

Production engineering - auth, security, testing, observability, runbooks. Not vibes-driven development. We deploy to your cloud, set up monitoring, write the runbook, and hand over keys.

Weekly demos. Open issue tracker. A real engineer in your Slack - not a project manager paraphrasing one.

Improve. Or graduate.

Measure usage, ship improvements, evolve the system with you on a monthly retainer. Or take it in-house, hire your own team, and we stay on retainer for the hard problems.

Most clients move to a Build Partner retainer for 3–6 months, then take it in-house once they've hired their first engineer. We help with the hiring too.
